Job Details:-
Scientific Officer ‘C’ – Pharmacology-Post-1
Pay Band: Rs. 15600-39100 + Grade Pay Rs.5400
Age: Max 40 years
Qualification:
M. Pharm in pharmacology with minimum 1 year relevant research experience in a centre of good repute after M. Pharm. Hands-on experience in preclinical drug development, HPLC clinical pharmacokinetic studies and good knowledge of QA, QC and regulatory aspects is desirable.
Scientific Assistant ‘B’ (Molecular Pathology)-Post-1
Pay Band: Rs. 9300-34800 + Grade Pay Rs.4200
Age: Max 30 years
Qualification:
B.Sc. MLT / B. Sc. (Biochemistry / Chemistry / Microbiology/Life Sciences/ Biotech) with 60% plus DMLT with 60% marks. After DMLT, minimum 2 year relevant experience in Molecular diagnostic techniques or Cancer Biorepository in reputed centre. Candidates with lower percentage in B.Sc./DMLT will be considered for interview if there are no other applicants with the prescribed 2 years experience.
Scientific Assistant ‘B’ (Analytical Chemistry)-Post-1
Pay Band: Rs. 9300-34800 + Grade Pay Rs.4200
Age: Max 30 years
Qualification:
B.Sc. (with Chemistry as one of the main subject) with 60% marks or B.Pharm with 60% marks. Minimum 2 years work experience, preferably in an analytical lab with hands on experience in HPLC.
Scientific Assistant ‘B’ (CRI Research Labs)-Posts-2
Pay Band: Rs. 9300-34800 + Grade Pay Rs.4200
Age: Max 30 years
Qualification:
B.Sc. (Biochemistry / Chemistry / Microbiology/Life Sciences/ Biotech) with 60% marks plus DMLT from recognized institute with 60% marks. Minimum 2 years work experience after DMLT, preferably in a Research Laboratory.
Assistant Dietician-Post-1
Pay Band: Rs. 9300-34800 + Grade Pay Rs.4200
Age: Max 30 years
Qualification:
B. Sc (Home Sciences) with Foods & Nutrition with 60% marks and PG Diploma in Dietetics from recognized University. Minimum 2 year work experience, preferably in Special Cancer Nutrition for tube feeding patients in a reputed Hospital.
Technician ‘E’ (OT/ICU)-Post-1
Pay Band: Rs. 9300-34800 + Grade Pay Rs.4200
Age: Max 30 years
Qualification:
B.Sc. (Physics/Chemistry/Life Sciences/Biotechnology) with 60% marks and one year certificate/diploma course in ICU/OT Techniques or related field from a reputed institute. After certificate / diploma course, minimum 2 years relevant experience as ICU/OT Technician in reputed centre. Candidates with lower percentage will be considered for interview if there are no other applicants with the prescribed 2 year experience.
Technician ‘C’ ( Composite Lab)-Posts-8
Pay Band: Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs.2400
Age: Max 28 years
Qualification: H.S.C. plus DMLT or CMLT from recognized institute. Minimum 55% marks in either H.S.C or DMLT or CMLT. After CMLT / DMLT, minimum 3 years experience in modern diagnostic lab. Candidates with lower percentage will be considered for interview if there are no other applicants with the prescribed 3 year experience.
Technician ‘B’ (IT)-Post-1
Pay Band: Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs.2000
Age: Max 28 years
Qualification:
H.S.C. plus 1 year diploma / certificate course in PC hardware and networking from a recognized institute with minimum 55% marks in HSC and diploma / certificate course. After the certificate course, the candidate should have minimum 1 year relevant experience in maintaining PC hardware & networking components in a reputed centre.
Technician ‘A’ (CSSD)-Post-1
Pay Band: Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs.1900
Age: Max 28 years
Qualification: SSC with minimum 55% marks in Science & Mathematics put together. Minimum one year experience as Technician in CSSD
Nurse ‘A’-Posts-9
Pay Band: Rs. 9300-34800 + Grade Pay Rs.4600
Age: Max 28 years
Qualification:
B.Sc.(Nursing) / G.N.M. with Diploma in Oncology Nursing with one year experience Registered or eligible for MNC Registration
Application Fee:
a) Demand Draft / Banker’s Cheque of Rs.100/- drawn in favour of TMC-ACTREC payable at Navi Mumbai.
b) SC/ST/Persons with disabilities / Ex-servicemen are exempted from payment of application fee.
Relaxation:
Age will be relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC and for PWD and Ex Servicemen as per rulers of GOI. Age may also be relaxed for departmental or project staff of TMC for the period of services rendered in TMC and in cases of exceptional merit and qualifications wherever applicable. The applicant belonging to reserved category should enclose an attested copy of Caste / Tribe certificate issued by the competent authority in the prescribed format with their applications, failing which their applications will not be entertained. The age will be reckoned as on 1.1.2010.

How To Apply:
Applications in the prescribed format along with a recent passport size photograph affixed on the right hand top corner with attested copies of certificates and non-refundable demand draft / banker’s cheque should be forwarded to the Senior Administrative Officer, Advanced Centre for Treatment, Research & Education in Cancer, (TMC), Sector – 22, Kharghar, Navi Mumbai-410210 so as to reach on or before 30.04.2010. Persons working in Central / State Government / Other Public Sector Undertakings should submit their applications through proper channel or attach No Objection Certificate of the employer.
Notes:
1. The qualifications and experience prescribed above are the minimum and mere possession of the same does not entitle any candidates to be called for test /interview. Where the number of applications received in response to the advertisement is large, it will not be possible for the Centre to call all candidates for test/interview. The number may be restricted to a reasonable limit on the basis of the qualifications and experience. Canvassing in any form will be treated as a disqualification for the post.
2. SC/ST/Physically Handicapped category / Ex servicemen (if not employed) candidates called for interview will be reimbursed for Sr.No.1 3tyer AC and for Sr.No. 2 to 10 second class railway fare (other than Rajdhani/Shatabdi/Janashatabdi trains) by shortest route from their place of normal residence in India and back only on production of tickets / evidence indicating class of journey.
3. It is not necessary that all the advertised posts will be filled. The higher start of pay by granting advance increments may also be considered by the Selection Committee in case of exceptionally meritorious.
4. The applicant if related to any of the employees/officers working in TMC services he /she must disclose the details in the application clearly.
5. The applicant having prescribed professional qualification should indicate their registration number namely medical graduate / PG ( MCI / State Council) , Pharmacy Graduate / PG (with Pharmacy Council of India / State), Nursing graduate / PG – (Nursing Council of India or with State Council): Ex Servicemen with District Soldiers Welfare Board and other applicant applying for position of Group C& D requiring prescribed non professional qualifications should give employment exchange No. compulsorily, failing which application will be liable to be rejected.
