1. Maintenance Assistant (Trainee)





Qualification: Middle + ITI (Welding, Fitting, Turning, Machining, Sheet Making, Motor Mechanic, Diesel Mechanic, Auto Electrician and Electrician. Preference will be given to those with HVD licence & experience in operation of HEM equipment.





Nature of Job: To assist in carrying out routine, periodic and preventive maintenance, repairs and overhaul of HEM equipment, Plant and other equipment and independently perform routine maintenance, minor adjustment, repairs of machines/ equipment operate and maintain pumping units and accessories.





2. HEM Mechanic Gr I (Trainee)






Qualification: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering/Automobile Engineering of three years duration from a recognised University/ Institute. Only Diploma Holders are eligible to apply. Graduate Engineers and those doing their engineering after completing Diploma need not apply. Preference will be given to those with Heavy Vehicle Driving licence.

Nature of Job:

Maintenance and repair of HEM equipment like Dumpers, Dozers, Drills, Shovels, Heavy and Light vehicles, Machine and Machine tools and other related works including welding, machining, fabrication, turning, shaping, boring and operating machine tools etc.






3. MCO Gr-I (Trainee)





Qualification: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering/Automobile Engineering of three years duration from a recognised University/ Institute. Only Diploma Holders are eligible to apply. Graduate Engineers and those doing their engineering after completing Diploma need not apply. Preference will be given to those with Heavy Vehicle Driving licence.





Nature of Job:

Maintenance and repair of Plant Machineries and HEM equipment like Dumpers, Dozers, Drills, Shovels, Heavy and Light vehicles, Machine and Machine tools and other related works including welding, machining, fabrication, turning, shaping, boring and operating machine tools etc.





4. Electrician Gr-I (Trainee)






Qualification: Diploma in Electrical Engineering of three years duration from a recognised University/ Institute. Only Diploma Holders are eligible to apply. Graduate Engineers and those doing their engineering after completing Diploma need not apply. Preference would be given to those possessing a valid Electrical Supervisor's certificate of competency, covering mining installations. Preference will be given to those with Statutory Certificates and Heavy Vehicle Driving licence.





Nature of Job:- Independently carryout all kinds of Electrical operation and maintenance in Plant and all repairs and maintenance of HEM equipments in the Mine and also attend to installation, maintenance and repairs of electrical power supply system both industrial and domestic.





5. Asstt Radiographer Gr-III (Trainee)





Qualification: 10th board exam pass/Graduate in Science + Certificate/Diploma in Radiography. Preference will be given to those with experience in relevant field.






Nature of Job:- To produce radiographs/ X-Ray photographs of maximum diagnostic qualities with minimum radiation to the patient and also to operate electro medical equipments of all types so as to get diagnostic reports/graphs/pictures etc.





6. Diamond Classifier cum Valuer Gr III (Trainee)





Qualification: Graduate in Science / Geology + One year Graduate Diploma in Diamond Technology from IDI Surat OR Matric with 12 weeks Certificate from IDI, Surat and experience in handling, classifying and valuing rough diamonds. Preference will be given to those candidates with experience in the relevant field.





Nature of Job: Sorting and segregation, collection, classification, valuation, recording, registering, handling and transportation of diamonds.

Selection Process:





1. Eligible candidates meeting the qualification will be called for written / Practical test for the above posts. Those who qualify in the written test will be called for interview.





2. Candidates called for written/ Practical test will have to appear at their own expenses. However outstation SC/ST candidates will be paid single second class Rail/Bus fare by shortest route subject to production of Rail / Bus tickets as per rules. All outstation candidates called for Interview will be reimbursed to-and –fro single second class Rail /Bus fare by shortest route from the place to which call letter are sent, subject to production of rail /Bus tickets.






3. Mere fulfilling of the minimum criteria prescribed does not entitle any candidate to be called for the test / interview and candidates will be short-listed based on criteria decided by the Management. The Corporation reserves its right to call candidates with / without experience at its discretion.





Training Period, Stipend and regularisation:





1. The selected candidates will initially be appointed as Trainee for a period of one and a half years for all the posts on a consolidated stipend as mentioned at Column ‘C’ above. The period of training may be extended or curtailed at the discretion of the Management.






2. On completion of training, Basic pay, DA and other benefits will be payable as per rules of the Corporation.





General:





1. The maximum age limit for all the above posts is 30 years as on 01-07-2010. Relaxation of age for SC/ST by 5 years, for OBC candidates by 3 years and for Ex-servicemen, PWDs etc as per Government directives will be applicable.





2. Reservation will be as per Government directives.





3. Proof of Qualification, Community, Date of Birth and Experience must be enclosed with the application.






4. A demand draft for an amount of Rs. 50/- (Rupees Fifty only) for all the posts drawn on State Bank Of India, Majhgawan, Panna district, Branch (Branch code : 0-4568) in favour of NMDC Limited, Diamond Mining Project, Majhgawan, Panna must be enclosed with the application form. SC/ST candidates are exempted from submitting DD.





5. Canvassing in any form will attract disqualification.





6. No interim correspondence will be entertained.





7. Interested candidates may download the application blank form from our website www.nmdc.co.in and send the duly filled in application to the Deputy General Manager (Personnel), Diamond Mining Project, P.O. Majhgawan, District- Panna, Madhya Pradesh, Pin 488101 so as to reach this office within 21 days of publication of this notification. Applications received after this date will not be considered. Please super-scribe the name of the post on the top of the envelope.
