Qualifications :

Second class B.V.Sc. & A.H./B.V.Sc./B.Sc. in Biotechnology or Zoology or Agriculture/B.Sc. (Medical);


M.V.Sc. in any veterinary subject preferably in Animal Reproduction, Gynaecology & Obstetrics OR M.Sc./Ph.D. in Biotechnology/Zoology/Biochemistry. Candidate having experience in related field will be given preference.





Knowledge of Punjabi upto Matric level. The condition is relaxable, if the candidate is otherwise found suitable.





Job Responsibilities :

To assist in Lab. and field research in animal reproduction.

Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time by the P.I.

Emoluments :


For postgraduates in Veterinary Science : Rs. 14,000/- per month plus 15 % HRA for first and second year and Rs. 15,000/- per month plus 15 % HRA for third year.

For postgraduates other than Veterinary Science : Rs. 12,000/- per month plus 15 % HRA for first and second year and Rs. 14,000/- per month plus 15 % HRA for third year.

The post is provided in the project entitled “Optimizing reproductive performance of dairy animals for sustainable milk production” RKVY-A3. The post is purely temporary and appointment will be made on six monthly basis.





The application form can be had from this office on any working day on payment of Rs.100/- through Demand Draft drawn in the favour of Comptroller, GADVASU, Ludhiana. The applications duly completed in all respect alongwith attested copies of the certificates should reach this office by June 30, 2010. The incomplete applications and not supported with requisite documents will not be entertained. The candidates should appear for interview on July 5, 2010 at 11.00 a.m. in the office of the undersigned.





No separate intimation for interview will be sent. No TA/DA etc. will be paid for attending the interview. The candidates should bring all the original certificates with them at the time of interview.
